2007 CROSS COUNTRY: Ran in two meets as a 2007 sophomore...Finished 48th overall in a time of 32:55 at the NCAA North Central regional...Was fourth for the Roadrunners and 31st overall at the RMAC Championship.

2007 OUTDOOR: Ran a NCAA provisional-qualifying time of 1:54.29 to finish third in the 800 meters at the Jack Christiansen Invitational...Finished third in the 800 meters at the RMAC Championship...Ended the season ranked fifth in the RMAC in the 800 meters...Won the 800 meters in a time of 1:53.09 at Colorado College...Finished seventh in the 400 meters at the Potts Invitational.

2007 INDOOR: Ran on the fourth-place distance medley relay team at the RMAC Championship...Team also won the relay at the Air Force Invitational...Ran a time of 1:16.57 to finish second in the 600 yards at the Potts Invitational...Ranked 14th in the RMAC in the 800 meters.

2006 CROSS COUNTRY: Ran in five races as a 2006 freshman...Finished second overall at the Colorado Christian Open, running the 5.8K race in a time of 17:19...Finished 61st overall in a time of 33:48.8 at the NCAA North Central Regional...Ran 27:26.55 to finish 44th overall at the 8K RMAC Championship...Placed 49th after running a time of 24:22 at the season-opening Wyoming Invitational.

2005: Redshirted his 2005 freshman season at Metro State.

RANUM HIGH: Ran four years of track and field and cross country at Ranum High School, from which he graduated in 2004...Held the school record in the 400 meters (48.9) and the 800 meters (1:55.0)...Finished second in state in the 4x800-meter relay in 2003 and 2004...Coached in cross country by John Esquibel.

PERSONAL: Born June 4, 1986, to Anthony and Tina Luna...Has a brother, Anthony, who is also on the Metro State cross country team, and a sister, Brandi...Enjoys drawing, biking, hunting and fishing...Majoring in environmental science at Metro State and plans to become a forest ranger after graduation.
