The Metro State men's and women's cross country teams are both ranked in the latest regional rankings, the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association announced today.

The women's squard earned their first ever regional ranking at No. 10 in the Central region. Adams State is ranked No. 1 on the women's side, followed by Augustana, Western State and Minnesota-Duluth.

Metro State earned the No. 6 ranking in the Central region for the second consecutive poll. Adams State is No. 1 followed by Western State, Colorado School of Mines, Minnesota State and Augustana.

Both teams will compete at the RMAC Championships, October 25th in Kearney, Neb.
